PRESS RELEASE: Anna Bogatin Ott Recent Museum Acquisitions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Anna Bogatin Ott’s painting, “Everglades”, 2013, was recently acquired by the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), Philadelphia, PA. The painting is titled after the Everglades National Park in Florida and belongs to the body of works that focus on color and repetitive marks and done in a process akin to meditation. It invites viewers to slow down and explore the moment of mindful contemplation.

In addition - Anna Bogatin Ott’s work, “Aurora”, was acquired by the Georgia Museum of Art in 2015 and will be included in the upcoming exhibition, “Color, Form and Light: Objects from the Permanent Collection” which opens to the public on June 22, 2019 and continues through October 13, 2019. This focused exhibition consists of rarely seen works from the permanent collection or on long term loan. Artists included are: Leo Amino, Anna Bogatin Ott, Dan Flavin, Charles Hinman, Joseph Havel, Kyohei Inukai, Valerie Jaudon, Lila Katzen, Lyman Kipp, Jules Olitski, Ludwig Sander, DeWain Valentine, Anne Wall Thomasand, and Yvaral.

Lastly, Anna Bogatin Ott’s painting, “Juliet”, 2017, Acrylic on canvas, 36 x 36 inches was recently acquired by the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art, Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
