JOHN ADELMAN The artist will have a solo exhibition with Holly Johnson
Gallery in January of
2009. Recent Exhibitions include; Drawing Conclusions, Group Exhibition, Holly

August - September 2007, the Big Show at Lawndale Art Center in Houston, TX, The Edge Of
Excess at the Foundry in St. Charles MO, and New and Used at Arkansas State University's
Bradbury Gallery. Adelman will have a solo show at Montgomery College in Conroe, TX.

TERRY ALLEN continues to work on Ghost Ship Rodez, a project he began
in France (2006) at
MASS MOCA in January 2008. The multimedia performance presents his fictional story of a
horrific voyage between Ireland and Dublin taken by the French theater visionary Antonin Artaud
in 1937. A major book about Terry Allen and his art will be published by the University of Texas
Press in 2010.

WILLIAM BETTS The artist was recently included in Austin's Texas Biennial
2007 and was
only one of three artists selected for the second time. Work included Watch it! When Art and TV
Meet at SUNY Stonybrook, NY; and SUPERvision: Responding to the rise of Surveillance
Technology at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire (catalog). Winner of Biennial Southwest,
The Albuquerque Museum, Neal Benezra, Juror and Curator, September January 7, 2007.
Work was included in a show at the Salt Lake Art Center entitled FabAb: New Abstraction, March
30 - May 30, 2007.

DORNITH DOHERTY Solo exhibition with forty page catalog at Holly Johnson
Gallery in
December 2007 and solo exhibition at McMurtrey Gallery in April 2007. Her work was featured in
a two person show at the UNT Artspace in Fort Worth, entitled UNT/TCU Conversations, Luther
Smith and Dornith Doherty: Reverberations on Landscapes, in September of 2007. Recent group
exhibitions include Fathom: Exploring the Depths of Water as Concept, Content, and Context,
Texas State University- San Marcos Art Gallery October 2007, and Pictures of Things:
Contemporary Still Life Photography at the Visual Arts Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, June -

exhibition, Worlds Away: New Suburban Landscapes, at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.

MIKE OSBORNE In Spring 2008, the artist returned to Beijing with the support of the
Graham
Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts. New images from his ongoing project there
will be featured in a September 2008 exhibition at the Houston Center for Photography. In
October 2008, the artist will begin an eight-month residency at Akademie Schloss Solitude in
Stuttgart, Germany.
